Many webmasters have been dwindling with the idea that blackhat search engine optimization is the wave of the future and many have been trying out experiments testing out the different methods. I must admit there are many people spending countless man hours producing some amazing programs and scripts for certain internet processes, but the fact still remains that blackhat SEO is never going to be sustainable. There have been some people who claim that there blackhat SEO efforts have brought them riches through the search engines, but I've yet to see anything to make those statements true. The fact is no matter how much these people are spending on ways to make there blackhat practices look natural it just doesn't compete with the amount search engines spend changing their systems.
The techniques used by blackhat SEO specialists are all unethical means of building one way links to websites they own and therefore getting a better search engine placement. Now some of them manage to see success for a couple months at a time, and they say that's part of the game. Basically there goals are to set-up quick blackhat SEO'd websites and then promote them for a couple months until the search engines catch on and then ban the site from the search rankings. A lot of sites don't get banned and that's for one simple reason which is because they don't have any good rankings. The second you get a first page ranking for a popular term you're going to be checked out by other webmasters trying to figure out why you passed them and when this happens if you're not squeaky clean with your SEO you'll end up getting reported to Google. Once this happens they will check out your site and if they sense you're using blackhat techniques at all then they will simply take you out of the search engine rankings.
Blackhat SEO has become popular simply because it costs hardly anything to do, all you need to do is buy the programs basically which is exactly how the programmers make money. They don't really care if you make money they just want to make money selling there products. It seems cheap at first because it's only $100, but if you spend the $100 on Whitehat SEO tactics then you'd be spending your money for the future and not something that could become worthless at any minute. Whitehat SEO is referred to as the techniques used by people targeting keywords the correct and ethical ways that are out there. You should only focus on Whitehat techniques because they will last forever, whereas blackhat techniques can last for days or months, but at anytime can lose all worth. You especially don't want to try blackhat SEO techniques on a website that you've already been establishing because it's a heartbreak when you become delisted in the search engines. If you don't believe all the hoopla and you'd like to try out some of the blackhat methods you've been hearing about on the webmaster forums and blogs then you should buy a cheap hosting plan and a new domain. This way it's completely separate from anything else you own, and then this way you can see how it does and then once it becomes useless you won't have to worry about your other sites getting delisted as well. |
