Pre-selling the affiliate programs that you promote

If you are on a mailing list of any type then you have more then likely to have received communications that are hyping the release of the next great product that the company has to offer.

You will find that not all of these emails and different communications are from the company themselves. Many are from affiliates and partners in joint ventures. One of the most important parts of a successful Internet marketing campaign is to aggressively pre-sell or generate a ton of anticipation among the members of your marketing lists.

You will find out fast that your conversions will be much higher if you have a list of clients that are eagerly awaiting the release of the products that you have been pre-selling.

This is especially true if your product is something that hasn't been widely seen before. You do not want to simply contact the members of your list and tell them that you are offering them something new. Get them excited by only telling them bits and pieces. Do not tell them how to purchase the product until you are ready to offer it too them. This way they are chomping at the bit to try this great new product the very second that they are able to get their hands on it.

As soon as you have your entire list with their credit cards out and ready to buy that is the perfect time to send them to your sales page. If you can pull this process off you will find that your sales can shoot through the roof. That is certainly better then marketing the lazy way. A great pre-sell campaign needs attention grabbing sales copy and a whole lot of careful planning to be a success. Planning is the key to success in business because if you just run in headfirst you are setting yourself up for failure.

A great way to see what versions of your sales copy are drawing the best results is to test different emails on various sections of your email list. Keep a close eye on what copy is attaining the greatest number of click through conversions and you will know which email to push when you are ready for your big promotional campaign. Of course you want to make sure that you promote all of the big products that your program has to offer but do not forget the smaller products.

Chances are that your list is also part of other marketing lists so if you can quickly set yourself apart from the rest of the pack you are sure to see a jump in your sales.
